The Circular Fashion Federation is pleased to announce the publication of the second deliverable of his Working Group dedicated to the Circular Digital Product Passport (DPP), co-piloted with Arianee et Trace For Good.

This new document explores a central aspect of the DPP: the dataIt aims to identify, structure and make activatable the information necessary so that the DPP is not just a compliance tool, but a real operational lever serving circular models (reuse, repair, resale, upcycling, etc.)

An activatable DPP for circular fashion

Through this deliverable, the group proposes a pragmatic framework, based on field realities, for align the DPP structure with existing circular flowsConcretely, this work allows us to answer several questions:

  • What data should be collected?
  • By which actors?
  • At what point in the product life cycle?
  • And above all: for what purpose?

This work is a continuation of the first deliverable, which defined a typology of circular products and total dedicated DPP architectureThis second phase offers:

  • A structured comparison between linear DPP and circular DPP

  • A correspondence table of key data to keep / adapt / add

  • A focus by product type (second-hand, repaired, upcycled, etc.)

  • A mapping of stakeholders and their roles

  • Concrete use cases, including a complete second-hand journey

  • Strategic avenues: indicators, taxation, financing, regulation
